"Day's Eye" Flowers

This popular April flower is a classic! Daisies get their name from the term “day’s eye" because they close at night and open in the morning light. There are 23,000 different species of daisies. You can find these flowers in bright shades of red and white, orange, yellow, pink, blue... almost every color of the rainbow!

Some daisy plant varieties are annuals, living for one season only, while others are perennials, living for more than one season. Daisies are popular in herbal remedies and amongst the bees. Bees love using the nectar from Daisy flowers to produce honey.

We like to pair bright colorful daisies such as bright pink with our mint green vase. The combination gives off a cheery Spring feeling!
