Spring Flower: Iris

Did you know there are more than 250 species of Iris? It's hard to miss these tall and strikingly purple-blue flowers.

These majestic blooms flower from late spring to early summer. The most familiar irises are the tall, bearded irises which reach 2-3 ft. in height. They bloom best in full daylight so that means about 6-8 hours of sun. Irises attract butterflies and hummingbirds and pair well with roses, peonies, and lilies.

We love to pair these flowers with a neutral color vase such as our White Diamond Vase. The neutral color allows the beauty of the Iris to shine forth and take center stage.

What vase color would you choose to showcase this showstopper of a flower?
